Then you’ve come to the right place. Exmouth A Cappella takes singing to the next level — not simply a single tune, but four-part a cappella harmony: music created from four different voice parts that beautifully blend into one chord. Whatever your voice range, we have a section just waiting to welcome you:  

Basses.. the bedrock of the chorus providing the rich, warm tones and often the beat.

Tenors .. the clear, light high tones providing the icing on the cake! 

Leads.. the middle-range voices who usually sing the main tune and keep the whole thing rolling.

Baritones are also the middle-range voices that provide quirky bits and harmonies.

 

We perform in all sorts of venues from theatres to gardens, from churches to village halls. Depending on the performance we have a variety of outfits which are provided by the chorus.

We would love to welcome you to a couple of our rehearsals on a Tuesday evening at 7.15 to see if this is the group for you.  We don’t audition, but if you decide to join us .. and we hope you do .. our Musical Director will ask you to sing a couple of lines from an easy song such as Happy Birthday so that she can place you in an appropriate section within the chorus. You may be surprised where you belong!
